I have had experience with Chinese technology so i write this to warn people.

I installed a system which the customer had bought himself. He just wanted me to install it. Cant remember the make but, needless to say, after 2 weeks the customer had rung me back. Pressure was lost, and the collector was leaking. After inspecting the manifold, we found one of the welds had failed. The manifold was extremely crude and had 160 welds of which one had failed. The glass tubes were exceptionally poor compared to the European systems I have installed before. After attempting to get spare parts, he failed because the company he bought them from did not want to know.

I still see the system on his roof, and now it does not work. A bit of a white elephant. I would stick to European quality systems for peace of mind.

My solar installation, as promised lasted a day. The installations team was remarkably effective and worked well together. As a teacher, it was amusing to be on the receiving end of a lesson - this time about how to use the control panel for the central heating and hot water.

I have no qualms about recommending this business to my friends or family. I now look forward to low energy bills.

We already had solar panels for hot water, and this was the next logical step, while doing our bit for the environment. It will also hopefully make a much better return for our investment in these financially troubled times than keeping the money in a low interest account. Having only just had the system installed we cannot comment on the benefits at the present time, but we are sure it will live up to our expectations in the future.
